The prospects of sustainable upland aquafarming will be one of the topics to be discussed in forthcoming conference of aquaculture engineers and members of the newly-formed Philippine Aquaculture Society (PAS). The other topic will center on mariculture parks. According to Dr. Herminio R. Rabanal, a pioneer in fisheries technology and members of the sponsoring organizations (PAS and Society of Aquaculture Engineers of the Philippines or SAEP), the meeting will be held at the Benguet University in La Trinidad, Benguet, on November 17.
