DOST-PCAARRD publishes 1st edition of Philippines Recommends for Mangrove Crab

The Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) recently released the first edition of The Philippines Recommends (PR) for Mangrove Crab. The publication aims to provide updated technologies on mangrove crab production. Furthermore, it tackles the hatchery, nursery, grow out culture, and marketing aspect of mangrove crab. This edition was developed through a committee composed of experts from the academe, private institutions, and other government agencies. Dr. Emilia T. Quinitio of the Integrated Services for the Development of Aquaculture and Fisheries (ISDA) Inc. served as the Technical Committee Chair.
