Aquaculture engineers eye mariculture parks
Excerpt
Mariculture parks may soon be part of the country's coastal landscape. That is, if things go well according to plans of the Society of Aquaculture Engineers of the Philippines (SAEP). Mariculture park, as described by SEAFDEC AQD consultant Fred Yap, is an area in marine waters designated for mariculture (growing of marine species) and provided with the appropriate infrastructure to make it convenient to install and operate.
