The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is holding technology transfer demonstration that will allow fisherfolks to learn new technologies in fisheries helpful producing higher value-added fish products and raising the fishing industry's productivity in the next few years. Dr. Rolando Platon, chief of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center's (SEAFDEC) aquaculture department, said that fisheries scientists and fish processing experts have aggreed to extend their know-how to fisherfolks particularly in technologies in fisheries culture, breeding and p and processing of fish and other sea food
