Six agri-business projects in the region availed of financial assistance from the Department of Agriculture. The checks were properly turned over at the opening ceremony of the "Agri-business in Focus 2001: in the city on December 12, 2001 at PNB multi-purpose hall. The fair was organized by Department of Agriculture regional office, Department of Trade and Industry, Board of Investments, Department of Science and Technology, National Economic Development Authority, Regional Council and the Southeast Asian Fisheries and Development Center (SEAFDEC).
