An on-site training in marine aquaculture of high value fishes was conducted at Hotel Alejandro in Tacloban City. More than 80 participants, mostly Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) training officers from Region 8 and private fish growers, attended the training. Dr. Juan Albadejo, BFAR regional director, welcomed Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) lecturers and recognized the important role SEAFDEC in fish production through aquaculture.
