This we learned when we attended the First National Mud Crab Congress in Iloilo City under the auspices of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center-Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD) and UPV Visayas. But there is another silver lining on the horizon. In the 20 years of continuous mud crab research, the scientists of SEAFDEC-AQD and UP Visayas have been coming up with technologies that could boost mud crab production.en
