President Duterte is heading to the Philippine Rise (formerly Benham Rise) this week to assert the country's ownership and sovereignty over the resource-rich underwater plateau and lead the commemoration of the awarding of the region to the country. Duterte is also going to the Philippine Rise also to commemorate its renaming from Benham Rise.
