A multinational oil company in the Philippines is daring to bring into the country their own model of mangrove reforestation in their home country through a corporate social responsibility project that has drawn hundreds of participants Friday in the province of Cavite. PTT Philippine Corporation (PTTPC), a local subsidiary of PTT Pubnlic company Limited of Thailand, initiated its own mangrove respofrestation project in Noveleta, Cavite with 500,000 mangrove propagu;es planted in just one day. "We are trying to duplicate our mother company's effort to lead the same kind of project, the mangrove planting, in our desire to help in the environmental campaign of the Philippine government especially after the disaster brought by super typhoon Yolanda last year, "PTTPC president and chief executive officer Wisarn Chawalitanon tld the more tham 500 volunteers who ttok part in yesterday's tree planting.
