Two graduate students at the University of Wales in the United Kingdom are working on their theses at a government-hosted Southeast Asian Center based here. Paloma Carillo de Albornoz, 27, and Andrew Teuma, 23, are pursuing their master's degrees in shellfish biology, fisheries, and culture. They are doing their graduate research work at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD) based in this town situated 24 kilometers west of Iloilo City.
