A breakthrough in the breeding of three seahorse species native to the Philippines has been achieved. The R & D headways was chalked up by researchers of the government-hosted Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD) based here. The seahorse species native to the country are Hippocampus kuda, H. barbouri, and H. comes.
