| local.seafdecaqd.extract | The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and partner agencies have launched on Wednesday a milkfish aqua feeds research center in Guiuan, Eastern Samar to address the high cost of commercial feeds for the country’s most culture fish. The project seeks to develop locally-made, sustainable, and low-cost feeds from plant-based proteins and invasive alien species to produce aqua feeds, BFAR regional director Juan Albaladejo said.
