Three fishermen were arrested in Binalbagan for alleged illegal fishing on June 21. The suspects were identified as Bernard Palma, a resident of the Barangay 2, Hinigaran; Felix Perales of Barangay 1, Himamaylan City; and Gerome Guanzon, legal age of Barangay Katinggib, Himamaylan City. Elements of Binalbagan Bantay Dagat Task force under the supervision of Police Major Fernando Somblingo Jr. conducted Seaborne Patrol within the coastal area of Binalbagan, which resulted in the apprehension of three fishing boats with the three suspects as the captain of their respective boats.
