BFAR Director Asis Perez said that his agency's core programs this year aim to maintain the balance in increasing production towards food security while conserving aquatic resources so we can sustainable utilize them in the long run. The strategy is reflected by fisheries production expanding by 5.6%, with the sector's production reaching ₱59.9 billion in gross value.en
