"The best prawn quality so far...we should step up the promotion of this technology," says SEAFDEC AQD Chief Rolando Platon seeing the good result of the prawn harvest of SEAFDEC-BFAR (Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources) joint project in Brgy. Butong, Taal, Batangas. "After several successful demonstration runs in the Visayas, Mindanao and now here in Luzon, we believe that the environment-friendly prawn technology can be applicable or adaptable to other sites," he said.
