Farming blister wing oysters is evolving into another source of income for many Leyte fishermen. Leyte Gov. Leopoldo Dominico Petilla told Manila Bulletin his office has found oyster culture could be highly profitable venture for fishermen. Petilla said growing oysters does not need feeds or medicines that are requirements in such venture as piggery or poultry production.
