The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) and the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (NFRDI) of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources held at training on tagging of small pelagic fishes on board M/V DA-BFAR and at the National Marine Fisheries Development Center in Navotas City last December 10-11, 2007. The training was conducted in collaboration with SEAFDEC's Marine Fisheries Resource Development and Management Department (Malaysia) represented by deputy chief Dr. Osamu Abe and the Training Department (Thailand) represented by Dr. Somboon Siriraksophon.
