The China- Philippines Fisheries Technology and Training Exchange has held in Shenzhen Experimental Base of South China Sea Fisheries Research Institute affiliated to Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences in Guangdong Province. Deputy Director General Liu Xinzhong of the Fishery Bureau and Deputy Director General Zhang Lubiao of International Cooperation of China’s Ministry of Agriculture, Vice President Liu Yingjie of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences and local officials from Guangdong Province attended the event. Director Wilfredo Cruz of the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Authority of the Philippine Department of Agriculture headed a delegation of 17 members during the meeting. Both sides recalled the historic and successful state visit paid by the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping last October.
