Dr. Felix Ayson is the new chief of the Aquaculture Department of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC-AQD) in Tigbauan, Iloilo. The belated report said Dr. Ayson was sworn into office by Agriculture Secretary Proceso J. Alcala and will serve a two-year term. He replaced Dr. Joebert Toledo, who served as AQD chief since 2006, and saw the improvement of the research facilities of the institution through donations by Japan and other countries.en
