A Marine Center that will ensure the protection, conservation and protection of marine resources was recently opened in the City of Mati, with the support of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Davao region (DENR-11) through its Integrated Coastal Resources Management Project (ICRMP). The center was established in Guangguang in Dahican, an area where 26 species of Mangroves are located and presently being propagated.
