More than 250 licensed fisheries technologists and members of the Asosasyon ng mga Propesyonal sa Pangisdaan ng Pilipinas, Inc. (APPP) from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao gathered and participated in the first APPP Seminar-Workshop and Business Meeting held on June 16, 2017 at the Training Rooms, Graduate and Continuing Education Building, UP Visayas, Iloilo City campus. Topics discussed during the workshop which sought to improve the association were the following: 1.) Role of the APPP/Fisheries Professional in Nation Building, 2.) How to Strengthen the APPP, and 3.) Recommendations to Improve the Fisheries Industry.
