Aqua students get industry exposure experience
Excerpt
For more than two years after the deadly COVID-19 outbreak, students of the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences had the opportunity to explore recent developments in the fisheries industry in the region. The fourth-year undergraduate students of the Institute of Aquaculture gained exposure to various aquaculture facilities in Panay and Negros Occidental as part of their practicum last July 28 to August 12, 2022, to gain knowledge outside the four corners of the classroom. The exposure also allowed the students to have a deeper understanding of the actual operations and applications of aquaculture.
