Eleven sacks of assorted corals taken from reefs were confiscated by elements of the 403rd Philippine Maritime Group (403PMG) and the local "Bantay Dagat" in Purok 1 Ilaya, Barangay Dalahican, here, last weekend. Tanggol Kalikasan identified the harvester of the corals as a certain Mateo I. Taneo, 60, a local resident. PO1 Meynard P. Abel of the 403MPG said Taneo had intended to transport the corals for sale allegedly at the Cartimar Shopping Mall in Pasay City.
