There is a need to hire additional workers to complete the cleanup operations of the typhoon-related oil spill in Estancia, Iloilo. Dr. Rex Sadaba, manager of the oil spill response team of UP Visayas and Iloilo provincial government consultant, emphasized this. Sadaba said Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management, the government corporation that owns the offshore power barge that caused the oil spill during Super Typhoon Yolanda last year, must boost manpower.
