A total of 231 aquaculture practitioners and prospective investors from all over the country met here recently and discussed the latest mature technologies now available to enterprising businessmen. Billed "Business Opportunities in Aquaculture (Aquabiz)," the seminar was convened by the government-hosted Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC - AQD) based in Tigbauan town 24 kilometers west of here. The meeting was among the activities organized by SEAFDEC-AQD on the occasion of the celebration of its 30th anniversary.
