A government-hosted Southeast Asian center here celebrates its 30th anniversary this week, optimistic that it can continue generating technologies that can boost the development of fisheries in the region. The main highlight of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the South East Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD) was the holding of a seminar called "Business Opportunities in Aquaculture" at the Barcelo Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center in Iloilo City, 24 kilometers east of here last July 7-8.
