Sixteen Filipino and foreign fisheries specialists are undergoing a two-month training on Responsible Aquaculture Development (RAD) at a government-hosted Southeast Asian center based here. RAD is a Third Country Training Program (TCTP) funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The ongoing course is the tenth in a series of RAD-TCTP conducted over the past nine years by the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD) based in this seaside town, which is 24 km west of Iloilo City.
