Sixteen pupils from eight elementary schools and 18 students from six high schools in Western Visayas won science and related awards conferred recently by a government-hosted Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center based here. The competitions were held under the auspices of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD) during the observance of this year's Fish Conservation Week (FCW). A recognition ceremony for the volunteers of International Coastal Clean Up and Clean Up the World was also held.
