The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (Seafdec/AQD) scientists together with the rank and file employees held a rally yesterday afternoon infront of the Museo Iloilo to protest the reported reappointment of Dr. Rolando R. Platon for his fifth term. Senior Scientists Joebert Toledo, in an interview, said in the almost eight consecutive years in office of Dr. Platon he failed to establish through policy formulation and implementation a smooth, logical, and efficient continuum of research, verification, and transfer of aquaculture technologies.
