The shoreline is clear after the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) in Bago City joined the simultaneous coastal clean-up conducted by the local government unit (LGU) and Philippine National Police (PNP) in Valladolid, Negros Occidental, recently. Six coastal barangays – Poblacion, Sagua Banwa, Central Tabao, Tabao Proper, Bagumbayan and Tabao Baybay – were cleaned with the help of residents, 4Ps beneficiaries, CENRO Bago City staff, LGUs and PNP. The simultaneous clean-up saw limited number of volunteers to ensure social distancing and other minimum health standards amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.en
