    Excerpt
Fishermen rescued a wounded dolphin after it got stranded off the waters of Barangay Maricalum, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental on Monday. Commander Jansen Benjamin, head of Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)-Negros Occidental, said the dolphin was found at the shallow portion of the Maricalum bay. Dolphin sightings are sometimes reported at the Maricalum bay because of its clear water, Benjamin said.
