The city government of Mati and the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) met on Tuesday, July 28, to discuss the proposed construction of a five-hectare fish port complex. In a statement, the city government of Mati said Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat met with top officials of the PFDA to discuss the ₱150-million project.
