    Excerpt
An early morning mangrove and upland tree planting activity kicked off the one million tree planting project dubbed “1 Million Kahoy” in time for the recent Arbor Day celebration here. Governor Esteban Evan Contreras led the kick-off activity at the mangrove area in Brgy. Lonoy in Sapian town as he encouraged all Capicenos especially the youth to take part in the reforestation and greening initiative. The governor then led provincial officials as well as department heads, national government agencies representatives, policemen and religious groups in the same activity in Brgy. Timpas in Panitan town.
