The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)-Negros Occidental mounted a search and rescue operation after a fisherman was reported missing when his motorized boat capsized in the waters of Barangay 1, Ilog, Negros Occidental late Tuesday night. Commander Jansen Benjamin, head of PCG-Negros Occidental, said that 32-year-old Isagani Avansenia, and his brother Ivar, 35, both residents of Barangay Bocana, went fishing around 11 p.m. when their boat got tangled in a fishing net.
