Some 50 research scientists and contractual employees of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center - Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD) staged a protest outside the main gate of the agency here yesterday. Ironically, the protesters were met with pro-administration group coming from the Brackish-water Project from the other side of the fence. But Demet Estenor, president of the Union of SEAFDEC Employees - National Federation of Labor cleared that the Union has nothing to do with yesterday's rally.
