    Excerpt
A local fishing boat carrying 12 fishermen, including its captain, and two other individuals capsized off the waters of Tayamaan in Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro Sunday after it reportedly collided with a Hong Kong-registered bulk carrier vessel, the Philippine Coast Guard said. Aerial and sea search and rescue operations have been under way since the captain of foreign vessel “MV Vienna Wood” made a distress call Sunday to the Coast Guard. It was disclosed that the local fishing vessel “Liberty 5” and “MV Vienna Wood” collided in the waters off the municipality of Tayamaan due to rough seas at about 1 a.m. Sunday.
