    Excerpt
The Region 7 office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-7) has already completed the boundary delineation of protected areas (PA's) in Central Visayas last year. "We finished demarcating and delineating some 16 PAs totaling 842.1786 kilometers in 2013, " said DENR-7 Director Dr. Isabelo Montejo. Delineation refers to the actual ground survey of the boundaries of protected areas and its management zones using global positioning system (GPS) or other applicable surveying instruments or technologies with the intention to come up with a map of the area.
