The agreement was forged between the Bataan provincial government, Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Region 3, QSR Management Link Association, Inc., and Soliman E.C. Septic Tank Disposal. The deal centers on the implementation of Republic Act 9275 or the Philippine Clean Water Act of 2004 that is aimed to protect the country’s water bodies from pollution coming from land-based sources like industries, commercial establishments, agriculture works, and household activities.en
