Now there’s a “guard” to prevent fish kill, aptly dubbed SENTRY (Sensing Environmental Parameters through Telemetry), which the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) deployed along Lipote River in Batangas. DOST’s Regional Office IV-A led the deployment of SENTRY during its 52nd anniversary celebration recently in Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas. A tri-sector collaboration developed SENTRY, involving the government, the private sector, and the academe.
