    Sea turtle, grass owl rescued in Valladolid

    A sea turtle and an Eastern grass owl were rescued in Valladolid, Negros Occidental last Monday. According to the Community Environment and Natural Resources (Cenro) in Bago City, a female Olive Ridley turtle was rescued by Benito Parrocho, a fisherman after it got entangled in a fishing net at Barangay Central Tabao. The reptile weighs 15 kilos. It is 49 centimeters long and 51 centimeters wide.
