Albaladejo is assuring the public that in Eastern Visayas, only the waters of Matarinao Bay in Eastern Samar are positive for red tide toxins. The BFAR 8 Director said that based on Shellfish Bulletin No. 7 issued March 30, the shellfish and water samples collected from coastal waters in Matarinao Bay are positive beyond the regulatory limit for paralytic shellfish poisoning. Matarinao Bay covers the municipalities of Salcedo, Quinapondan, MacArthur and Hernani in Eastern Samar province.en
