In recognition of their efforts in agricultural development, some 50 farmers, fisherfolk, and past chairmen of the Regional Agricultural and Fisheries Council (RAFC) were honored during this year's regional Gawad Saka Search. The search is an annual event for farmers engaged is rice, corn, high value crops, livestock and other categories. Department of Agriculture (DA) 7, in partnership with RAFC, awarded some 50 individuals who have excelled in their field of endeavor.
