    Excerpt
With the aim to still provide affordable fish to consumers despite the community quarantine, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) 8 is urging local chief executives (LCEs) in Eastern Visayas to impose price freeze of fish and fishery products listed in the Price Act as basic necessities.BFAR 8 Regional Director Juan Albaladejo appealed to LCEs to reactivate their Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) to forestall and monitor the excessive and unreasonable price of the basic fishery necessities, which include fresh, dried, and canned fish and other marine products in the public markets.”
