Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Sr. has pledged to undertake massive mangrove reforestation in all coastal municipalities in the province. Defensor made tthis declaration during the launch of the Artificial Reefs for Transformation (ART 2) project at Sitio Lacaran, Barangay Ermita, Dumangas last Sunday, October 2. ART 2 is the second component of the "from-ridge-to-reef" program of the Defensor administration which involves massive tree planting activities and coastal resource management.
