    Excerpt
The government expects the country's tuna production to increase in the last quarter of 2012 to February 2013 as fishermen were recently given access to fish in the so-called high seas pocket 1 or HSP-1 of the Pacific Ocean. Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala said about 190 metric tons of tuna were initially unloaded by three carrier vessels at the Gen. Santos City fish port, from October 17 to 18, based on reports by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).
