    Excerpt
The Mariculture Park in Panabo City in Davao del Norte developed by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in collaboration with the local government unit in that provincial city is one of the most successful. More than 300 cages producing mostly bangus are being operated by small scale fisherfolk who used to fish from the sea. Now they raise fish for a much surer means of livelihood.
