    Excerpt
A Quezon City court yesterday lifted the 72-hour temporary environment protection order (TEPO) that prevents the Department of Agriculture and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources from issuing a permit to re-export 25 captive dolphins at Ocean Adventure Park in Subic, Zambales, to Singapore. Judge Evangeline Castillo-Marigomen of QC RTC Branch 101 denied the extension of the TEPO sought by animal rights groups due to lack of evidence. "The court is constrained to deny the application for a TEPO... as the petitioners have not proven any violation of law committed by the concerned government agencies," the judge noted.
