Some agriculture and fishery stakeholders in Bicol Region have received P83.3-million aid through the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) campaign of “bridging the gap and touching the hearts" of the agri-fisheries sector. Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala made another round of visit to the Bicol region to interact with farmers and fisherfolks and turn-over agriculture projects and goods in Sorsogon and Albay in Bicolandia, DA reported recently. Farmers and fishers organizations in Sorsogon were granted over ₱49 million worth of agricultural and fisheries goods, farm equipment, livelihood checks, and infrastructure projects.
