    Excerpt
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) spearheaded the cleaning of coastline areas in Barangay Mataas Na Bayan, Lemery, Batangas as the company lent its full support to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in the observance of the International Coastal Clean-up (ICC) Day last Sept. 15. Nelson Bautista, South Luzon Corporate Communication and Public Affairs Officer, said volunteer-employees from NGCP South Luzon together with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO) and other representatives from the Mayor's office collected more than a hundred sacks of waste during the cleanup.
