    From Thailand to Texas, corals stressed by this year's extreme heat are bleaching, or shedding their color and going into survival mode. Many have died; more are expected to do so in coming months. Computer forecasts suggest that Caribbean corals may undergo drastic bleaching in the next few weeks.
